Happy Christmas!

December 25th, 2007 , 21:44

Ok, what sort of sad person blogs on Christmas day? Joe, that’s who. So here I am, wanting to play with my brand new, just opened this morning DS and instead I’m updating the blog.

Up early, breakfast (why?), open presents (yea!), then start lunch. Lots and lots and lots and lots of lunch. Venison and every veg we can fit on/in the stove. After stuffing ourselves silly we play with our new toys and then watch Dr Who.

So have a very Merry Christmas and thanks for all the cards and gifts and messages! All best wishes for the new year!

June 19th, 2007 , 9:23

A dry an bright start to the morning most of the mud dried up. A dry wind blowing this morning witch was like last night a pleasant end to the day. With a nice sunset

The backhall connecton was off most of yesterday, only coming back on in the evening. But we got more done, so two more configs and a flag, well every one else has one 🙂 .

So we will try to mount the remaining APs to day, and clean up for every one else that will be in the cabin. They just add two more editors this morning.

We are getting a steady stream of people wanting to use are network, mostly from the volunteers, and other people around the site area.

So breakfast had and now down to work, the first set of antennas is up, the office rearrange we now configuring the server and the first access point. The weather is not wet almost sunny.
